Bicolor Oregon Sunstone ring in 14k yellow gold

At the center of this ring is a lovely and rare blueish/pink bicolor, Oregon Sunstone.  This is one of the colors you don't see often at all.  The stone has great clarity and weighs 2.08ct.

Oregon Sunstone owes its color to the copper  within the stone.  Sometimes the copper shows up as a pinkish colored "schiller", either streaks or clouds of visible bits of copper.  Other times,  as in this stone it changes the color from the standard champagne to red,  pink,  green or even teal blue.
