Beautiful 1.5ct AA red color Oregon Sunstone

This stone today is not as saturated a red as some,  but it's a nice red color with a hint of copper "schiller".
It measures 11x5.5mm and might be perfect in a custom ring or pendant.  The weight is 1.5ct.
The indigenous people of the area where this stone was found are the Northern Piute. According to tribal legend, the blood of a great warrior – wounded by an arrow - dropped onto pieces of Oregon sunstone. The blood carried his warrior spirit into the stones, coloring them with shades of red and giving them sacred power. These stones were often used in medicine wheel ceremonies and found in sacred bundles.
