1.25ct 8x6.2mm Red/ Gold Zoned Oregon Sunstone

This red/golden bi color Oregon Sunstone is pretty special. 
The red color in it is AAA, meaning it shows little or no orange common in Oregon Sunstone.  
The copper "schiller" within the feldspar material can cause colors to appear just depending on the orientation of those microscopic platelets. Other color variations are green,  maroon,  teal blue,  peach pink,  orangeish red, and the most common,  champagne gold. Typically, the deeper the color,  the rarer the stone and the higher the price. 
This stone weighs 1.25ct and measures 8x6.2mm.
