Shimmering pink beauty. Natural Oregon Sunstone 5.63ct
Very nice example of a constellation schiller Oregon Sunstone with great peach/orange color.
Oregon sunstone is a cuprian laboradite feldspar material known for its adventuresence. It is extremely rare, found only in one small area of Eastern Oregon.
It is the official state gemstone of Oregon, and was traded for centuries by Native Americans who highly prized these stones.
This would make a fantastic pendant or ring. The pricing is about half of retail, making it quite a bargain.
I mined the rough myself from the Dust Devil Mine outside of Plush Oregon.
