This very pretty stone is a prime example of Oregon Fire Opal. While there are fire opals from Mexico and other areas, this one is all Oregon. 2.22ct oval is very pretty - there is one small inclusion (black mark from the rock it came out of) on the bottom of the stone (see photo) for this reason I've reduced the price, though it shouldn't show if set correctly.
