Amazing 5.11ct peach with blue highlights and golden schiller
This elongated baguette shaped Oregon sunstone is going to be perfect in a pendant or elegant ring. The 5.11ct weight and striking schiller are sure to attract attention. The schiller almost gives it a banded appearance and there are flashes of blue at the edges of this beautiful stone.
Oregon sunstone is classified as a cuprian laboradite feldspar and was formed by volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. It is extremely rare and this type of sunstone is only found in one small area of Eastern Oregon. It was self mined by me from the Dust Devil Mine outside of Plush Oregon earlier this year, and then transformed into this beautiful gem by a skilled artesian.
